There is an important distinction that needs to be made: creating HTML
emails in Mail and emailing pages loaded in Safari via Mail. I believe
HTML emails created in Mail to be standards compliant and to be
interpreted very successfully in the other major clients. In regards
to web pages that you load in Safari and then email using the "Mail
Contents of This Page" feature, the success of the message it's
completely external to Mail.app—it will depend entirely on how the
author of the webpage coded it.
