I noticed the facebook group says:

However, though the group has its meetings in SLC, it is open to
anyone in the state, not just SLC.  In fact, there are many out of the
state that are in the group, so it's really open to everyone.  I think
some nearby states don't have their own PHP UG, so they should feel
welcome to join as well.

Just a couple cents worth for the facebook group.
