[UPHPU] Class not working and I don't understand why

I'm trying to pass a string to require_once, which is this file path:
'_snippets/__xhtmlTransitionalDTD.php' as retrieved by
$masterPage->getDocType() ...at least I think that's what's happening. Am I
wrong?
