Could you define what you mean by database conventions? Do you mean
table / field naming conventions? Conventions for interacting with a
database from PHP? Specific PHP classes to interact with databases?

This sounds like it could be a very helpful discussion, but I'm not
sure exactly what you're looking for. :)
