I can see this being both a good and bad thing.

The good, in my opinion, comes from the fact that well designed RAD
tool for PHP could be a great asset for devs who know what they're
doing. As long as it doesn't try to be "helpful" by "fixing" your code
(ala Dreamweaver), I'd definitely like to get some serious time
testing this new tool. (And no.. the 1 day downloadable trial doesn't
count..)

Also, if the IDE is as great as Cole is expecting it to be, it will
hopefully raise the bar in terms of what is expected from PHP IDEs in
general.

The bad, obviously, is that it could/will (take your pick) make it
even easier for clueless devs to  build crappy code / insecure apps.
But then again, they've been doing that since the first programming
language was created..
