[UPHPU] PHP 5 soap extension

Has anyone had any experience using PHP 5's soap extension?  Specifically
the soap client.  I was hoping for something that would show me the XML for
a request and/or response.  The __getLastRequest and __getLastResponse
functions strip out the XML tags.  Does anyone know of some third party code
that might do the trick?
