Well, yes, that's true, and it should be a fee. I like that more
narrowly-defined style a lot! Your handy GC knows how to do them
correctly. Generic menu button collections do not. Let me show by
example the difference I'm thinking about:
The wrong way (worthy of a harsh beating) -

For a GC to do it the right way, most definitely charge extra
(cha-ching). The difference is in the context. Just as you mentioned,
this looks awesome for things like "download now", "sunbcribe rss" or
"buy now", where it's the most important button you're supposed to
press.
But I would not use this for menu buttons, where I've got ten of them
stacked on top of each other in a nav. It loses the clean effect, it's
coolness and impact as it gets smaller and breeds.
I'm really glad you mentioned this style, because it's very specific
and very cool. Plus, you want to charge extra. Kudos, Velda, kudos.
