How about using the display property on the form, like this:
<a href="">Español</a>
<form action="search.php" style='display:inline;'>
<input type="text" name="search" size="15" />
<input type="submit" value="Search">
</form>
<div>
<li><a href="products.php">Products</a>
</div>
It seems to work for me on FF 2.0
