[UPHPU] Re: job posting archive?

Dan,

I'm a job-seeker who completely missed your posting for two reasons:

1) I tend to only subscribe to one mailing list per organization -- I
prefer getting all of my UPHPU-related mail at once (I get the digest
of this list) and picking out the things that interest me. I think
others might have shared my mistake: at the time I subscribed to
UPHPU, I was employed and didn't need the jobs mailing list, so I
skipped it; When it came time to look for a job, I had forgotten that
an extra list existed.

BTW, I'm not attempting to argue the relative merits of all-in-one vs
separate lists -- UPHPU lists are the way they are, and so be it.

2) When I looked at the list archives. I initially skipped right over
your message because of the subject line: "VoIP Position in Salt
Lake." I assumed it was a VoIP job, wondered briefly why it was on a
PHP mailing list, and moved on without reading the details (until
now). I don't know if other job-seekers shared my reaction.

Both of those things may have combined to result in low response.
