I can't think of any notable web dev focused conferences that occur in SLC,
although I could be wrong.

However,  as an avid snowboarder, when Sheri mentioned this to me:
http://north.*web*directions.org, I had to sign up.  Takes place in
Vancouver, and on the weekend they provide transportation to Blackcomb
Whistler, greatest skiing in North America.  If you don't have your heart
set on Park City, check it out.
