I didn't know you could check it out from the group, that's nice. The  
Zen book explains both floats and the box model very well.

Feeling slightly snooty at this revelation, I feel compelled to quote  
Shakespeare!!! "Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more..."  
(Henry V), is better than "A table (substituting for 'horse'), a  
table, my kingdom for a table..." (Macbeth), which are "As dry as the  
remainder biscuit, he hath strange places cramm'd, which he vents in  
mangled forms..." (as You Like It).

OK, I feel better. When you have more time, understanding/forgiving  
crunch-time for now, the Ferrari's in the garage, but you have the  
manual first.
