I don't think it is a problem. If it would make you feel better, I was 
considering inviting my wife (Geek by association) and sons (ages 5, 4, 
and 1, Geeks in Training). If we're going to turn it into a UPHPU BBQ then 
I could make them come with me.

I don't know if anyone else would be uncomfortable having kids at the 
table though, so if there are objections, someone else better speak up 
too.
