Sorry for the late response, but here are a few thoughts based on my
experience with the USU Career Center helping me review my resume:

1 - One page resume is still the best.

This is probably a matter of opinion, and I don't know about "standards"
but every writing class (I majored in tech writing and instructional
technology) that I took where resumes were mentioned, it was always a
big point that they should be 1 page.

2 - Every time you apply for a job, customize your resume for that job.

It may be more work, but this way you can list only the skills they are
looking for and not everything. Don't put something on your resume just
because some job out there might need the skill.

3 - Whitespace

Listen to Wade on this one. Whitespace is just as important in a written
document as it is in graphic or website design.

Feel free to take a look at my resume at http://bradym.net/resume - the
pdf version is http://bradym.net/resume.pdf. The pdf version isn't
linked anywhere, but if I were actively looking for a job I'd update it
a bit and link it.

HTH!

Brady
