This is exactly what I was thinking, but I didn't want to say it because
IANAL either.

Pretty much the only thing you need to worry about is redistributing
modified GPL code.  e.g. Adding functionality to WP and re-selling it.

If you do redistribute modified WP, you just need to make it GPL too.
Remember, GPL doesn't mean you can't *sell* it, it just means the source
goes with it, as well as the freedom to use, modify, share, etc.
