[UPHPU] css popup lists, forms

Are there any good tutorials on using css to create popup lists (ie
menus) and popup forms (ie like input dialogs) from ref links.   In
other words click on a link like "File" and have a dropdown menu panel
with links to "new", "quit" ....
 or have a link like "login" and have a panel popup with username and
password fields.  It gives the web app that desktop web2.0 feel.
