For the sake of aesthetics and SEO, you should probably turn on  
"Permalinks" in the WordPress Options.  The RSS feed will become  
http://uphpu.org/feed/.  Instead of http://uphpu.org/?p=287, the URL  
of a post will look like one of these:

http://uphpu.org/updates-to-uphpu-syndication
http://uphpu.org/2006/09/updates-to-uphpu-syndication
http://uphpu.org/2006/09/06/updates-to-uphpu-syndication
