[UPHPU] PHP conference?

Okay, *that* would be fun.
I've been thinking about two things, one would be just a basic intro
to PHP for beginners. I'm not sure why a beginner would be attending
a conference but whatever, they said they're looking for talks aimed
at all levels.
The other would be making your code meta-dynamic - that is, just
adding PHP to your site will make it dynamic. But you can make your
PHP dynamic as well. Basically I'd take stuff I've learned from Lisp
(not things specific to the language, just concepts) and demonstrate
how they can be applied to PHP. Not terribly practical except in a
few very specific situations (I've run into maybe three in my entire
career where it'd give more benefit than the work put into it but boy
howdy when you need it, you need it) but it's fun to talk and think
about.
The thing that I keep getting hung up on is that I keep thinking "I
bet *everyone* knows that already" for every talk idea. I think I'll
talk to my dad about it tonight, he's given so many talks and
published so many papers that his resume's about ten pages long :p I'm
sure he'll be able to help. That and go back over the old UPHPU
presentations for ideas.
Anyway, what I was really wondering is just general stuff - what have
you liked and disliked about presentations and talks you've heard? Is
there a list of things that EVERYONE does that's annoying? Etc.
