Not really though, I consider CSS just another tool in my art box.  
Designers get used to using programs like photoshop, and in a sense, CSS 
is no different, nor is the smarty syntax once it's set up.  Databases I 
would say bridge the gap between left and right brained processes.  Only 
programming itself starts to get confusing, because there's alot that 
has to happen that I can't see.

If you were to compare how some extremley left-brained programmers deal 
with extremely right-brained people such as myself, to how the left and 
right hemispheres of the brain function or misfire in some cases, the 
political and procedural "seizures" we experience working together in 
some cases may justify a severance of the corpus collosum. Limited, 
seperated function to prevent dysfunction.  In web development, smarty 
templates do exactly that.
