Well, I'm thinking that the first two hours be all about the
presentations, with hands on training, and the last to hours be focused
on exercises and practicing, maybe with mentors available to help when
needed.  I don't know, what do you think?

I agree that this would be optimal for getting people starting with the
right programming practices and mindset when dealing with PHP.
Definitely seeing as though a great majority of us, myself included, are
new to PHP, and haven't done much with it.

I would say for the time being that 10-15 people will be in attendance
covering all ages.  But it's hard to tell at this point, as I am in
hopes that this workshop, and others, will really spark interest in the
group and pick up the momentum.
