The frustrations of Wade and many others are perfectly understandable.  I
think it's great that Matt wants to share and help the OS cause.  Sometimes
the people we work for don't (want to) see things as clearly as we do.
Usually it's because someone has made a substantial investment in the
proprietary side of things and they want to get their moneys worth (or not
look dumb because they OKd expenditures for expensive tools and then
compared them to more cost effective OS solutions).  We are all frustrated
with MS specifically and proprietary software in general because they make
our lives difficult.  But we can always keep working to try to make things
better.  (IMHO)
