I have used zipdy and it worked well for what I needed it to do.  Of
course, we were not going to get sued or in trouble if our results
were somehow inaccurate.

If you are doing it for a professional site then you need to buy one
of the zip code service mentioned earlier; if it is a personal or
hobby or amateur site you would be fine with the zipdy.
