Don't overlook Dojo - it's an excellent toolkit and offers great
automatic SVG rendering performance if it senses the browser supports it
(so you can suggest to your clients to run Firefox) To me dojo offers
widgets that are more useful for web 2.0 stuff (but that's highly
dependent on what you're doing). Obviously proto/script is popular for
a reason.
