That's a good point. I was looking at it more on an individual site basis
where you have complete control, as opposed to a software product that might
be installed anywhere.

I guess that depends on the search engine... I imagine that would compare
similarly to my example, though I have read things to suggest that some
search engines ignore query string parameters and that the left-most words
in an element (title, url) carries a greater weight (e.g. if you want to
show up in searches for Ducati, the page title "Ducati Apparel | Salt Lake
Motorsports" is better than "Salt Lake Motorsports | Ducati Apparel")
