[UPHPU] MCAL or other Calendaring library

Can anyone recommend a good calendar library? I've looked at MCAL,
since it's supported in PHP 4, but it hasn't been updated in over a
year. So I'm not sure if it's worth getting into.

I've found a few classes that deal with ical format, but I'd like to
use a database.

Right now my app uses MySQL and a bunch of hacks to handle events,
etc. Does anyone have any experience with calendars? I'd like to use a
good library to handle everything, preferably one that uses a
database.
