If you're the kind of guy who likes a fancy-schmancy IDE, Eclipse might be
for you. Anything is probably better than ColdFusion, except for maybe
DreamWeaver, FrontPage, or MS Word. Personally, I'm a big fan of
emacs/xemacs for my development in any language. It does very well with
PHP, javascript, java, C/C++, or whatever. Doesn't require java, either.
