This is the second edition of the book I learned on (I learned from the
first edition but the second is better by far.) I should mention that some
of the code in the examples (they've got several fully featured example
applications in it) are a bit buggy. Other than that, though, it's a
fantastic book to use for learning PHP and as a reference once you've
learned it.
