I am glad I'm not the only one who scoffed. I too applied and
was in a shock when I heard the $9 - $13/hr. You know, the most amazing
thing to me with this interviewer was not that he wanted "LAMP" but his
questions to me were much more intense to the point of asking detailed
questions regarding "Java, Javascript, UML, XML, TCP/IP, Apache,
Transactions in MySQL, inheritence, whether the MySQL socket uses a
Stateful or Stateless connection, applications security, https
insecurities, etc". He was not looking for a PHP
programmer, but more of a SuperHero. He has also written his own
functions/classes which I quote "write most of the code themselves".
I wasn't offered the job, but I told him I wouldn't accept it if it was
offered.
Since he claims to write in PHP, if he is a part of this list, I offer
this... rethink your goals, because as Dr. Phil says, "Get Real".
