Web Applications Developer - JavaScript
$90,000 +

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
•Web application development
•JavaScript prowess, including JQuery
•Familiarity with MVVM frameworks like Ember/Angular a plus
•Working with REST/JSON web services
•HTML/CSS, especially Responsive and Mobile Web best practices

Required skills:
Required Skills:
•Programming expertise using JavaScript, HTML, CSS. Experience with PHP and/or C# .Net
•jQuery and DOM manipulation and debugging experience.
•Source code versioning/control systems, code branching and merging practices.
•Comfortable working in Agile / iterative development environments and able to drive the process.
•Friendly and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to forge relationships of trust at all levels of the organization. Must be able to interact professionally with the users of all our systems.
•Must be self-managed, responsive, and dedicated to exceptional customer support.
•Ability to articulate ideas clearly with exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills – both verbal and written. (writing samples helpful)
•Aptitude, interest, and self-motivation to continually learn new tools and techniques.

Required experience:
•Bachelor’s degree preferred in information systems, information technology, computer science, or related field, or 8 years of equivalent work experience in lieu of a 4 year degree or a combination of work and education to equal a 4 year degree.
•Prior experience designing and programming with REST/JSON web services preferred.
•Background in alternative programming technologies (PHP, Ruby, Python, C# .NET, Java, etc) helpful.
•Experience building HTML5 based apps with complex JavaScript/AJAX interaction with web services is helpful.
2-10 years experience.
