Description:
American Legacy Publishing creates classroom periodicals for K-6 students find out more about us at www.studiesweekly.com. We are currently in need of an experienced, full-time, in office PHP developer.  We are not interested in freelancers or remote employees. Salary is negotiable depending on experience and education.

Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop information systems from the ground up
- Maintain existing websites
- Testing and trouble-shooting
- Assist in developing project requirements
- Develop standards compliant Web applications

Required skills:
Required Skills:
- PHP/MySQL experience
- Object-oriented design experience
- Considerable knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX
- Experience using version control

Optional Skills:
- Networking, systems administration, and DBA experience
- Experience with other languages (Perl, C, Java, ActionScript, etc.)
- Experience using CLI in Linux environment
- Experience with Jquery
