Position:
PHP Developer
$70,000 - $90,000

Description:
Our client, is an industry leading marketing and sales agency  looking for a strong front-end developer with proven experience in markup and maintenance of highly interactive web applications.  You'll be part of a fast-paced, dynamic, energetic, and fun environment, working within a large development department and collaborating with a team of Graphic Designers and UI experts to develop and maintain our high-traffic web applications.

Required skills:
B.S. Information Systems or equivalent experience 
Expert JavaScript and CSS abilities 
Excellent command of JavaScript-based tools and components (jQuery in particular) 
Good working knowledge of AJAX 
Significant cross-browser compatibility and implementation experience 
Experience developing web sites in PHP 
Extensive SEO and Web Usability experience 
Excellent Photoshop/Imageready skills 
Ability to learn quickly and turn around projects quickly 
Work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment 


Required experience:
Familiarity with MYSQL, Flex/Flash 
Understanding and experience in Object-oriented design (OOD) 
Understanding of MVC development model and PHP templating engines such as Smarty 
Basic Linux console commands (file updates, release preparation) 
Working within code repositories (preferably SVN) 
4 years web application development experience, with at least 2 years of hands-on development in a PHP environment.
