Description:
The Front-End Developer should be passionate about building beautifully simple and usable designs in a fun and productive environment.  We’re looking for someone who has interest and/or experience in accessibility and web standards.

 This position is responsible for creating clean XHTML markup and developing interfaces and interactions using CSS, JavaScript and Photoshop.  The ideal applicant will have a strong level of proficiency with web-standards-based design, HTML, XHTML, CSS and Adobe & Macromedia Suites, including Macromedia Flash and ActionScripting.  The ability to communicate effectively with designers, developers, marketers and project managers within the organization is essential.

Required skills:
Required Expert Proficiency:
CSS (including layouts without tables)
JavaScript
HTML/XHTML/DHTML 

Desired Skills/Experience:

Flash Action scripting
Fireworks
Illustrator
AJAX
XML/XSLT (a plus)
UI/Usability Design (including basic design principles)
Experience with usability testing
Photoshop

Required experience:
A background in online design, information design and or/interactive design
Live online samples and/or a strong portfolio of work (including CSS, HTML and JavaScript)
2+ years of experience in front-end web design
Knowledge of various browsers and their individual capabilities and limitations
Ability to work independently while forecasting and managing project deadlines
Working knowledge of technical website optimization and SEO concepts
Creativity, conscientiousness and meticulous attention to detail
