Description:
RGJ.com is a busy place these days. We’re looking for highly motivated self starters with an entrepreneurial approach to web development to join our staff. Bring your ideas with you! Must have the ability to work independently; be a creative, self-starter; critical thinker; be flexible and embrace new technology. Must also have the ability to process multiple projects accurately and on schedule, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, diverse working environment. College degree or equivalent experience in technology preferred.

Required skills:
Maintain existing applications • Work with customers and other staff to help determine project specifications • Adhere to HIPAA requirements on confidential information • Familiarity with version control (Subversion and/or git preferred) & test-driven and pair development • Competency in Ruby and/or Python, Javascript and PHP (some Perl and Java) • Experience with Linux (RedHat-based preferred), Apache, Tomcat and MySQL • A voracious appetite for knowledge and self-improvement • Comfortable with Mac-based development and/or working with Mac-based devs. Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
