Web Developer / Jr NetAdmin
$20,000 - $40,000

Description:
The Web Developer’s role is to build the operations end of the organizations Web sites and keep them running smoothly. This includes building, and implementing new Web pages and sites; integrating sites with back end applications / databases; migrating legacy applications to the Web; and performing day-to-day administration of the organization’s Web portfolio. Use of a variety of Web development languages is necessary. One of the first projects will be to create a simple storefront for renting and selling equipment online.

This individual will be responsible for creating and managing our internal  and external website portfolio. They must have a understanding of HTML, CSS and a desire to adhere to W3C standards. A desire to learn new languages and various technologies to keep our websites up-to-date is a major plus. Our websites must be consistently compatible with the three major browsers, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari. Our in-house graphic designers will help direct the look of the websites.

This individual will report to the IT Manager, and will assist in helpdesk, and other network related end user tasks as time becomes available.


Required skills:
PHP or ASP knowledge is required.
HTML and CSS knowledge is required.
MySQL (as well as MS SQL) is a plus, but not necessary.
