$40,000 - $60,000

Description:
We are currently seeking another technical professional to add to the Technical Services team. You will be working with a team of Web programmers and developers to create useful and innovative Web applications which solve the diverse needs of our clients. 
Key Responsibilities

    * 1:1 interaction with client
    * Cost estimation of work requested by the client
    * Creation of new and innovative applications that are designed and programmed to meet the clients needs.
          o Design and implement web based solutions for clients
          o Quality control
          o Interactive online development
          o Educating clients on technical issues associated with development of applications and systems 
    * Maintenance of existing client's applications
    * Research and development of emerging technologies
    * Working well with others, multi-tasking, identifying problems, creating solutions
    * Be available as a resource to other employees
    * Making sure that client is satisfied 

Required skills:
Applicant must be experienced with the following; however, those possessing superior skills in one or more categories will also be considered.

    * PC/Unix/Linux
    * Strong PHP Skills
    * DHTML/JavaScript/AJAX
    * PERL / Shell Script / CGI programming
    * SQL Database development/management
    * HTML and XML 

Beneficial Skill Sets

    * Experience with Smarty Templates is a plus (+)
    * Experience with photo manipulation software is a plus (+)
    * Experience with Macromedia Flash is a plus (+)
    * Experience with other programming languages is a plus (+)
    * Cascading Style Sheets
    * Java/JSP
    * C/C++
    * XSL/XSLT 

Required experience:
Minimum 2 years of direct experience creating web based applications. The applicant must have an aspiration to learn about the latest technologies, standards and programming methods, and have the ability to ramp-up and learn quickly. A clear writing ability is necessary for documentation and communication. Attention to detail and correctly estimating project time lines are essential. You must have a desire to create positive client/user experiences that are not only functional and useful, but also innovative.
