eSpeakers is a small team providing services to the professional speaking industry. We're the biggest player in our market and we're wowing the industry with the unique tools and systems we're releasing to them.

We're a Linux+PHP+Oracle shop and I'm looking for a skilled PHP coder who can commit 5-10 hours per week helping us maintain our systems, respond to customer questions via email, and develop new products.

In additional to the killer flexibility, we're offering above-average hourly rates for the work.

You can work from anywhere that you can access our VPN. Occasionally we'll use a lunch meeting for brainstorming the next great thing.

Skills required:

    * PHP 5: Master
    * SQL: good
    * Apache configuration: familiar
    * Solid, defensive, object oriented code craftmanship
    * creative thinker
    * dependable; on-time deliveries without excuses




Required skills:
Superb object-oriented PHP 5 is the most important skill. You'll also need SQL skills (we use Oracle), and general comfort with Apache on Linux.

As this position will require occasional interaction with customers (mostly via email), you'll also need reasonable communication skills.

Required experience:
Be able to demonstrate a couple of significant projects that you've been instrumental in.
