TEKsystems is looking for PHP developers for Direct Placement
opportunities with our client in Salt Lake City.
Web Application Developer
We are an exciting and rapidly growing medical software company located
in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our founders have helped build a variety of
innovative companies, including Oracle, Intel, and TenFold. We are
seeking a few world-class Web/Applications Developers to help us design
and develop a suite of innovative software products for healthcare.
Jobs and Responsibilities
* Design and build new PHP modules for our web-based patient
tracking system, patient health portal, and other enterprise
applications for healthcare
* Write SQL queries for Oracle
* Exceptional PHP skills
* HTML/CSS master with experience building dynamic web pages
* SQL expert. Linux expert w/1+ year of on-the-job experience
* Object Oriented programming experience
* Hard worker, willing to put in extra hours. We are a small
company with grand desires to change the world. We need a very dedicated
individual who wants to help us.
* Exceptional database/application design skills
* Able to demonstrate prior projects utilizing the required skills
listed above. We will ask for code samples. Must be able to "hit the
ground running" with minimal training time.
* Oracle SQL
* XML/SOAP experience
* Biostatistics experience and background a definite plus

Junior Level Developer (3-4 openings)
Years exp: 1-3
Web Development experience
Mid-Level Developer (3-4 openings)
Years exp: 3-5
Web development experience
Object-Oriented language capability and experience
Web services - SAP
Server side development
Senior SW Engineer (1-2 openings)
$70-90K/year ($95K will be the highest)
Years exp: 5+
This should be the smartest person on the team
Ideally have lead experience, or be willing to do lead responsibilities.
They will consider candidates who don't want to do lead
responsibilities, but it would be helpful to the manager.

Intangible skills looking for across all positions:
* Self motivated - this is the most important skill to the manager
because he is really busy and doesn't want to baby-sit the staff all the
* Taking initiative - this goes along with being self motivated;
example of what looking for is someone who finds a problem, researches
out solutions and brings suggestions to the manager for

Software Engineers design and code enterprise software according to
provided specifications. Occasionally work with customers to find
appropriate solutions to their problems.
o Optimize and test existing software to enhance
and improve performance and functionality.
o Help define new features along with the project
o Make recommendations for system and process
o 2-5 years experience in software and/or web
o Solid background utilizing OO concepts in design
o Must have strong understanding of Web
o Solid experience with PHP, SOAP, XML, MVC, CSS,
MySQL is a strong plus.
o Experience with large databases (over 10 Million
records) is also a plus.
o Must be detail-oriented and very self-motivated.
o Willing to work in a highly competitive
