Basic Description


This government based companies training solutions division is seeking a
project manager with experience in design and development of e-Learning
training courses and/or experience in software development projects. The
projects involve development and creation of computer-based training
courses in subject areas including environmental compliance (Air
Quality, RCRA and Hazardous Materials) and other training needs of
clients. The ideal candidate would have a unique blend of skills in
instructional design, classroom and e-learning curriculum development,
technical writing, environmental compliance, an understanding of
database systems, and project management. 


Essential Job Duties


*	Lead a project team comprised of instructional designers,
writers, graphic artists, and multimedia developers, in the development
and creation of computer-based training courses and related material
*	Oversee all aspects of the project to ensure contractual
requirements are met
*	Communicate with client as needed
*	Effectively manage project scope, schedule and budget
*	Track project progress and report status to upper management
*	Responsible for deliverable production oversight and quality
*	Coordinate with resource managers to maintain proper staffing
for project success
*	Identify and manage risks
*	Manage subcontractors
*	Assist with cost estimates and proposals
*	Mentor junior personnel


Essential Job Requirements


*	3-7 years related experience
*	Proficient with Microsoft Office
*	Familiar with computer-based management tools
*	Demonstrated ability to make decisions without supervision
*	Increasing responsibility for more complex and larger scope
projects
*	Demonstrated responsibility for budgetary requirements
*	Demonstrated ability to mentor and/or supervise others
*	Demonstrated successful customer interface with increasing
responsibility
*	Demonstrated understanding of accountability to team, division
and company for product quality
*	Demonstrated ability to lead proposal efforts
*	Business development skills contributing to expanding current
work or establishing new clients
*	Ability to identify and anticipate risk and plan for mitigation
*	Ability to obtain Department of Defense security clearance

Bachelor's Degree


Location


Primarily Salt Lake City, Utah with periodic travel to client locations
throughout the U.S.
