vehemently working on - and in - web technologies for some time now [10+ yrs] and always excited about it. i have also done a fair amount of [stand-alone] application development, using java, visual basic, c++, perl, and other languages [basic, lasso, etc] but, as a general rule, prefer php and it's vast flexibility and agility.
