Welcome to the Utah PHP Users Group. Our purpose is to promote and support the development and use of PHP and general web-based application development. PHP is a widely-used, robust, general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for both display and business logic programming.
If you are new to PHP and want to get some idea of how it works, we’re here for that too. We have a mailing list, staff an IRC channel, and meet for presentations on the third Thursday of each month. Membership is free and open to anyone interested.
To be a member of UPHPU, you should want to learn more about PHP and web development, want to share ideas with others, attend events on a regular basis, join our mailing list, register an account, and personalize your profile. You do not have to pay membership dues, pay for activities, be a expert or a professional programmer, or understand everything on this web-site.
